Celebrating 132 Years of Service
Welcome!
Welcome!
Welcome to the official website of the Mercy Seat Baptist Church. We are located in the Birthplace of Texas, beautiful Washington, Texas. God has blessed us to be in service to him since 1894. Thus, we are celebrating our 132nd anniversary this year!
Mercy Seat has stood the test of time and has a history that showcases that. God's grace has allowed us to build a new sanctuary on FM 912. It is more than simply a building. It is a place where the community is welcome to come and help us worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
An official grand opening ceremony is forthcoming, but the new sanctuary is open and we meet there for worship each Sunday.
